Define the Solution You Have Created

I’m writing to you, a tad jet lagged so excuse any typos (!), from LA where I arrived yesterday for some business here and some special mentoring for my health.

On the Virgin Upper Class flight out from London I sat next to ‘House’ name Hugh Laurie on my right and an incredibly talented entrepreneur – who will remain anonymous for now- on my left.

This is a guy who sells companies for millions and has made over $1billion in revenue, has done TED talks and is also a total cool dude, we chatted for hours and swapped fun stories about our adventures around the World (I’m a PADI diver, extreme sports nut, adrenaline junkie, and had lots in common with this guy- an essential business tip as you’re about to discover!)

So anyway, for me- being miss inquisitive- this was an opportunity to pick a billlion dollar brain and I wanted to share with you the things I really ‘got’ from this guy that will make a massive difference to where you are right now in your business.

Whether you just want to add a zero to your monthly revenues, or earn more in a day than most people earn in a year- these 3 tips will rev you up and have you sailing towards success with ease and fun!

Hot Tip 1:

Define the Solution You Have Created.

The World is full of ‘good ideas’. And as entrepreneurs this is what we have in abundance- which is nice- but an idea has no traction. What people need and want is solutions.

Solutions to pressing, important problems. So, ask yourself- What problem do I solve?

Now define your solution to the problem. It sounds simple- and it is- but most people don’t succeed because they don’t take the time to crystallise this important piece! Remember – be as specific as you can!

Even if you do nothing else today- Define your solution and you will be a lot closer to making your business stand out, and big success will be on its way.

Hot Tip 2:
Do Some Mad Stuff:
I am realising more and more how important it is to do some mad stuff.

As a rebellious teen I got into lots of mischief, and as an adult, I still do. I go on adventures, meet people, regularly leave my comfort zone and I try things. What’s something you’ve always wanted to try? Tennis, fishing, sky diving, horseriding, wakeboarding, base jumping?

Whatever- just go try stuff out. The reason is that when you meet other folks even if it seems you have nothing in common you can find something that connects you and gives you a personal level to chat about- this might sound like no big deal- but its critical to opening up to more serendipity, good feeling, and opportunity in your life!

Hot Tip 3:

Get Connected To Yourself:

Take the time to talk to people, and be a human being. Be easy being you. Avoid quoting others or reciting textbooks- just be yourself and come from your own experience and your own knowing. I see so many folks who have ‘lost themselves’ in development- all regurgitating and contrived small talk- that just won’t hold up in the new paradigm- people see straight through it and feel uneasy… Its time to bring it back to your true self- after all, that is more than good enough!

Enjoy these little tips and take a moment to consider how you can apply them today! If you resonate with these little nuggets you will love my upcoming course on selling with soul- if you haven’t checked it out yet it’s at: www.intuitivesales.biz . It’s especially created for people who don’t like selling or don’t know how to do it in a non “I -feel- icky” way. It’s perfect for all you big softies who genuinely want to make a difference in the World but have been chasing your tail, not making enough money and getting s-t-u-c-k in fear, procrastination or confusion. Once you get out of your own way- and move your biz from survival and success- you’ll be able to make the massive impact you came here to create!

Blessings & Love

Top Ten Tips For Soulful Entrepreneurs

There’s no doubt about it, this is the most exciting time in history for entrepreneurs.

There is more technology in my handbag than existed on the planet 20 years ago, and I can work from wherever in the World with web connection, including the beaches of Hawaii, mountains of Tahoe or even the middle of the Amazon jungle. It’s a cool time to take off on your own and create something from the heart, not to mention the fact that most entrepreneurs genuinely want their businesses to stand for something, to have meaning, and make a difference in the World.

The entrepreneurs of 2010 aren’t just ‘in it for the money’; we are hungry to be part of a global paradigm shift. In our own small way we desire to become agents of change through the way we live, love, and envision the promise and potential in ourselves, our ventures, our staff clients and our collective future as a human family. Idealistic? Sure! But what better time than the ‘tipping point’ of 2010 to take quantum leaps and forward somersaults into the entrepreneurs Life? A life of challenge, intense experience, and massive rewards- that might just result in true ongoing transformation for yourself and your World!

Here are my 10 top tips for entrepreneurs:

  1. Love Who You Are- ‘Being’ necessarily comes before ‘doing’. In order to experience real success- i.e. fulfillment on all levels- spiritual, financial, physical and emotional  you first need to feel valuable and worthy in every cell of your body. If you have issues around self-esteem they will show up pretty quickly and sabotage your business. It is possible to boost your confidence, self esteem and general well being- and it’s not only free but it’s available to us all. Take a daily practice of 20 minutes ‘sunbathing’ – sitting in the sun of your being and experiencing  your true value. If you don’t, you’ll always be seeking approval from others and trying to ‘get’ something only you can give to yourself.
  2. Love what you do- Do what really inspires you and makes you happy. Whatever you are pursuing, make it worthy of your highest self. Find the thing that makes you really ‘come alive’ and be sure to sing your own song. I love the saying to ‘be yourself- everyone else is taken’ and in business I think this is true for long-term success. When you find something that makes you feel that alive, tingling, happy vibe then follow it -with your whole heart, because it is a sure sign you will meet with success. Never do anything just for the cash- apart from being unworthy of your true nature that just won’t hold in 2010 and beyond.
  3. Live in your gifts… outsource the rest- Life is too short for you to be stuck doing everything in your business and doing your own admin or books (unless that is your greatest gift) is a false economy. Even though you might wonder how you will afford it you must get support and get stuck into what you do best. You have to trust that the £20 an hour you pay your PA will come back to you 10-fold when you start to value your time. Your time is your life- and the one thing you can’ get back.
  4. Share what you love & share more of yourself- With twitter, facebook, and all the other ways we connect you can’t get away in biz in 2010 without being real- more and more people want authenticity and people buy from people- ultimately it’s not about clicks, hits, seo, rankings or anything else – it’s really about the magnetism and genuine enthusiasm that you bring to your message and marketing. This is the year of the face- we all want to connect more deeply and feel a sense of community- this is a powerful reason to be yourself, and put more you into your marketing. As John Lennon said to Muhammad Ali at the start of his boxing career- ‘The more real you get,  the more unreal its gonna get’
  5. Love Sales - Sounds obvious I know, but it amazes me how many entrepreneurs don’t like ‘selling’. Listen, I can’t do ’10 top – tips for entrepreneurs’ without this being in here, and you can’t really flourish until you get really comfortable with selling. Maybe you have ideas about what a salesperson is or does, but you must know that there are ways to sell that don’t feel slimy. Fall in love with the idea of helping your prospects make a decision about whether or not your products and services can help them, and if you can’t then genuinely advise them where to go to get help. That makes you a consultant rather than a pursuer and sets you up to succeed. You are on this planet to help more people, if you have got your ‘mojo working’ the ones you can help will connect with you and want to work with you. Simples. Hit the phone and learn to sell if you want that biz to fly- it’s essential!
  6. Focus On The Flow without cash flow the only way is down. With so many distractions in 2010 you have to keep your eye on the ball- and the ball is your cash flow. Every day you must be focused on the best income generating activity. So many start-up entrepreneurs go get sites, photos, facebook, everything set up and yet aren’t bringing in the cash! It’s like saying you want to find a romantic partner and sitting at home in full make up and your best outfit but never going on a date! You have to get in the game if you want to play- so turn off your email, take some quiet time and get to grips with the numbers and how you can increase them starting today. For more spiritual types, keep in mind that money and spirituality are not mutually exclusive, in fact money is energy, and mastering money is a part of every conscious entrepreneur’s spiritual path.
  7. Love Your Clients- People know when they are just on a conveyor belt or aren’t appreciated. Let your clients know you love them! They have to come 1st and the little things that let them know you care about them go a long, long way- especially in 2010- where the industries and companies out of integrity are crumbling and people become more disillusioned with powers that be. Genuine authentic leadership and biz is necessarily becoming more and more transparent with the emphasis on sustainability, service and quality. I always notice the extra touch, and often send my clients unexpected gifts or simply give them my number or personal email so they can get hold of me if they need to ask anything after a session. It makes the whole process so much more human and rewarding for both parties.
  8. Find A Mentor- I love short cuts, hate queuing and prefer not to be stuck in traffic, life or my business. As soon as I start to feel myself slowing down or getting stuck I find someone who is smarter, wiser, more experienced and generally sassier than I am, before I start going backwards. Seek out people for help and advice, and  don’t expect to get something for nothing…Most successful entrepreneurs know that you have to be invested if you really are serious about learning from them, it’s how you get yourself to commit and take action on their good advice. Investing in yourself with a mentor is one of the smartest business decisions you can make. When you see that window of opportunity and get the chance to work with someone you just know can help you… walk through- you have to rise up to meet your destiny and your goals, so go the extra mile and invest in yourself with the best mentor you can find. At the same time be sure to…
  9. Use Your Intuition- Successful entrepreneurs are some of the most intuitive people in the World. Many a mystic is hiding behind that CEO title. Get used to checking inward on your decisions, and hearing your inner wisdom, from the broader eternal part of you.  Only you have your vision in mind, and the in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of your business may be only accessible to you. If you know in your heart or gut that something does or doesn’t FEEL right then do something about it- Ignore the voice of your intuition at your own expense!
  10. Get The Blend Right – Us entrepreneurs can be an ambitious lot, and I’ll confess it’s not uncommon to find me prizing my fingers off the keyboard to go and walk my dog or spend time with my loved ones. I know how important it is to work towards a blend- so make sure you schedule your holidays, free-days and down-time in advance. Base your business around your lifestyle goals as well as your financial ones. Decide how often you want to work and set your lifestyle up so you know what you are aiming for. This is especially important for mum-preneurs and family players who don’t want their life to be all work. To create balance and achieve a healthy blend without burning out you must see to it that your business works on your terms. You’ll find your business can go to new heights when you make time for any courses or events you want to attend and take down time for yourself to re-align, re-charge and switch off.

The Magic of Alignment- 3 Steps To Enter The ‘Flow’

Sometimes, when i go to a big event I notice this strange feeling of wat i can only call desparation. there is a shadow neediness in the air- a sense of fear, struggle and grief. I call it the drag. The ‘drag’ is what pulls you under, takes you away from yourself and tumbles you around and around until you no longer know which way is up. When you are in the drag you know about it, because you find yourself clutching at straws, chasing the next buck, changing your mind and reversing decisions (ouch for your money karma) and tearing around working lots but not ever really making progress. ‘The drag’ is literally when you are out of alignement with yourself, and swimming against the tide- it’s exhausting and miserable with no relent!
‘The Flow’ however is an altogether different expereince. in the flow you just need to let go and enjoy the ride. The right people show up at the right time, coincidences abound, you feel safe and happy and the right words seem to flow from you, your energy feels high and you vibrate at a frequency attuned to the breath of life- with joy and inspiration. When you step into the flow you allow your life to float downstream. You make time for God, for Source and you sit in the sun of your own being. you make decisions from your inner knowing and you don’t look back, knowing that you are the powerful creator of your own life and standing up for what you know and believe.
So how do we step in to that magical flow? Well, it’s really all about your inner alignment. i am constantly telling my clients that success is an inner game. You need to have your ducks in a row internally and not shy away from the deep work that comes hand in hand with your wake up call to be all you can be. the deep work can sometimes be a bit yucky and feel very uncomfortable, but inside all of us is just a lonely, wounded child who want and needs to be loved and loving. So here are 3 quick tips to help you step into your very own flow:
1. Listen. Put simply if you are in ‘the drag’ you’re ignoring your inner voice and looking outside yourself for answers, and if you are in the flow you make time to honour and trust your own feelings and desires and impulses without making yourself wrong.
2. Stop. If you know you are in ‘the drag’ the only way to get out is to simply stop what you are doing. literally stop everything. Make some time and space to step back and really look at what’s not working. Some thing needs to change- what is it?
3. Ask. The consequences of being in the drag can be pretty murky and dark, we might be in a right old mess and really need some help to tidy it up. Get support and ask for help, you can’t do it all alone, so ask your seen and unseen supporters to help you see your path and move back into that space of grace where you can fly again. It’s ok, you can do it. :)

Once Upon A Lifetime…

Once upon a lifetime

you discover a part of yourself

more beautiful than you’d ever realised

as bright as the sun rise

as magnificent as the ocean

as beautiful as a flower

as glorious as a magestic eagle.

Once you catch this glimpse

everything changes

and you feel your heart soar

as you realise that from here

from this place of spirit

from your inner land of light

you can create a New World

A world that reflects the love you feel

the hope you know in your heart

A world that shimmers with possibility.

Where every mouth is fed

Where every tear is wiped away

And every heart is comforted

We are all connected

It’s time to create a World

based upon what we know in our hearts is real

Love.

There is enough food for every mouth,

Let’s bring to this life

more love than ever before

As we feel our capacity to give, to share, to commune

Growing exponentially every single day.

Bless our hearts, filled with love.

Let us live in the light of truth and embrace our shadow

Let us open and give even when we feel afraid

Let us shine when we want to shrink

And trust where we used to doubt

It’s time.

Leave your perceptions behind you

Bring nothing but love with you

Because that is all that really exists

And all that you really are.

Let’s begin. Together.

Hi {!firstname_fix}
Hope you are having a great day.
I was just ruminating on how much life has changed since I gave up
on struggling through with it.
Here’s the kicker with struggle. We are struggling and struggling
away- struggling to pay the bills, struggling to make things
‘take off’ struggling to lose weight, struggling to be successful,
struggling to be close to God, or find love, or make money etc. etc.
But the more we struggle, the more we struggle.
In this place we might pray a bit, then struggle some more.
It’s like a spider’s web, as you twist and turn you just get more
knotted up in the problem you had in the first place- i.e.
more in the lack of what you want.
The trouble is the struggle is coming from a place of absence.
You are saying “I haven’t got it, if I work harder and struggle more
I can get it.” “If I pray for it, maybe God will give it to me…
Maybe if I ask enough then ‘The Universe will provide.’”
It just doesn’t work like that.
“Perception is based on a separated state, so that anyone who
perceives at all needs healing. Communion, not prayer, is the natural
state of those who know” (A Course in Miracles)
It’s your perception that is creating the illusion of lack and absence
of what you desire. You are literally ‘wanting’…Having can never come
from wanting, it can only come from already having.
You don’t believe it to be easy- so it isn’t. You don’t believe you
already have it, so you don’t. You don’t aknowledge the resources,
contacts, success, love and abundance within you- so you stay separate
and caught up in the illusion. It may be a ‘New Age’ approach to
the illusion, but it is still an illusion (Think broke healer!)
When I hired a mentor last year and took a long cold stare at
everything that wasn’t working the way I wanted it to I was terrified,
I had to act on my faith and do my affirmations daily. I had to
take a leap into the unknown and invest in myself, even when
I wasn’t sure of HOW…Even when I was in limbo between perceiving
and knowing.
All I knew was that I wasn’t making the impact I wanted to, I wasn’t
helping the people in the way I knew deep down in my soul that I could,
and I wasn’t experiencing life in as full a way that I knew to be
possible.
All I knew was that deep down I was more- and I wanted to
show up as who I really was.
It wasn’t that things weren’t great- they were- I had amazing experiences,
connected with fantastic people and had moments of knowing
I was on the right path…..But that was the problem – I felt I was on
‘the path’…. I wanted to be ‘there’.
That is the simple shift- from seeking to arriving;…. From where
you have always been to instantly somewhere new, yet familiar
- from struggling to allowing the good that
was always there, from striving to realising the success inherent
in your being.
What a relief. If you too feel stuck in that web, maybe you
really need a shift from where you are to where you could be-
it’s amazing- a Quantum leap, where suddenly you are in
a different existence and your whole World transforms before
your eyes.
If you have that knawing, knowing feeling inside that destiny is knocking
but your resistance is preventing you from letting it in – then
I invite you to see if I can help.
If you need a fresh pair of eyes see your vision, your highest Self,
your path, your past, and your future in a way that brings everything
into a clear, cohesive present- so you can quickly and easily get up and
running with your gifts, whilst you allow everything you have blocked
to suddenly flood your life- with love, abundance, success and
quantum shifts into who you really are then I can help you.
Get your application to my 12 month program
and lets transform the World! Starting with YOU!
http://www.crystalflowerfeather.com/pearl.html
You were born to be a powerful creator,
if in any way that is not your experience yet
let me help you untangle the web.
http://www.crystalflowerfeather.com/pearl.html
I send you love and want to leave you with this quote from
‘A Course In Miracles’
“God and His miracle are inseparable…Your worth is beyond
perception because it is beyond doubt.”
Are you ready to know your worth beyond doubt?
Are you ready to be the miracle that you are?
Silently affirm, Yes I am ready!
And if this opportunity is calling to you
then be sure to enter your application before
the full moon- this Saturday at midnight GMT.
Here’s that link again- It’s YOUR Time!
If this resonates with you then I’d be honoured
to help you be all you can be in 2010 and beyond!

Simple Planning For Creative Entrepreneurs

You will need- pen, paper, calendar, day book/timetable, list of all your upcoming dates/projects

Plot your calendar with what you know you are committed to for the year in pen

eg. Kilimanjaro climb, Isle of Wight Festival, Ellie’s Wedding

Then take your pencil and plot what you would like to do

eg. courses, training, trips, my own event

Make sure to mark out time off and holidays at the beginning of the year, you don’t have to know yet what you will do in that down time, just that it is marked out for you now.

Set your intentions and some bold goals about what 2010 is about for you.

KEY POINT: *Decide and commit to working in your Gift Zone*

Your Gift zone is the area where you use your unique talents, passions and experience to serve yourself and others by sharing yourself, love and time.

Ask yourself…”Who do I want to help most this year and why do I want to help them?”

Be very specific, and have a why that makes you totally excited and uplifted!

Value your time above all else- your time IS your life.

With that in mind list below some things you hate doing, stuff that wears you out, drains you, isn’t in your strengths at all or plain bores you -

i.e. Ironing

Chasing clients for payments

Scheduling appointments

Admin

Cleaning

Techy stuff- creating websites and adding shopping cart

Post and errands etc

You can outsource to a VA, who can handle admin,

A web technician- to set up your sites and payment gateways,

Writers if that isn’t your thing (try www.elance.com)

Find a local cleaner/house help

Along with a local student who wants to make a few extra pounds a week and will walk your dog or take stuff to the post office, do shopping, take in dry cleaning etc- anything you don’t love to do that is not best use of your time.

(Hint- Do you notice any feeling coming up here? resentment, guilt, shame, disbelief? If so, Can you identify it, feel it and ‘go into it’- you may need to momentarily exaggerate it to move through it- so if you feel guilt about not doing everything or hiring help- recognize and honour that feeling, and then ask yourself I you’d be willing to let that go if it means that you get to be all you can be. Heaven and Life want to support you in your mission, you are a leader and are allowed to ask for/receive help and support in all ways.)

(- Try posting on college/uni notice boards or on www.gumtree.com/craigslist or hire a PA who can come to your home and just keep on top of all the officey/organisation stuff.)

Live in Your Gift Zone!

Live in Your Gift Zone!

****There are people out there who just love to keep things organized and are really in their gift doing that kind of work- let them help you!****

You have to trust that the money you pay them will be re-couped as you work in your gift zone, just do it a step at a time.

Now list stuff you really want to do this year

Everything you can think of! This might include being great at your roles- as a mother, wife, friend, daughter. It might include business goals, humanitarian goals and personal health / lifestyle goals.

Review the list, and anything that is a ‘should’ or makes you feel heavier and not inspired/excited or not from love in your heart- simply cross off. Now ask yourself “What would I really love to do this year?”

Chunk it down to stuff you want to do this month

i.e. Get some more speaking gigs booked

Finalise details for retreats & schedule all clients

Book tickets for USA events & flights

Review applications for Pearl mentorship

Exercise daily

Join a yoga group

Tithe

Move

etc

Now to stuff you want to do this week (based on your monthly targets)

i.e. Find out about broadband in the new house

Book Fengshui consultant to organise & clear space in new house

Book cleaner to come weekly

Book Spa Day

Walk Ogilvy daily

VIP day Newport on Thurs

Share newsletter on Wednesday

Kilimanjoro Charity page launched

Email Lynne Twist about tithing

Finish 2010 planning

Get Ryan to do page and graphics

Send Trish gift & flowers to hospital

Each day you can block your tasks, so you have blocks of time- making your to do list fit into chunks

eg. Calls, Emails, Writing, Coaching, Planning, etc

This means that instead of darting around, a call here, an email there, and a blog post there -you are focusing on repetitive actions – which speeds up your productivity.

You might be working on 2 or 3 different projects, but you’d still do the calls in your calls time block…Make sense?

Think of it like a production line- in terms of grouping like tasks together, so you do all you calls at the same time, even if one is for project A, one is project B and one is the bank or whatever, like tasks go together. You can take an hour on a Sunday or Friday to plan your coming week.

Now look at your working week- decide what times would be best for you to do each of your chunks. Some chunks are daily, others weekly or monthly. Maybe your calls are bi-weekly, your coaching Tuesday and Thursday, your finances Friday, and writing mainly every fortnight~ or whatever.

Some of these tasks, like Email will be daily, but make a boundary by just doing email, say from 2-3 each day instead of it dominating your whole day- you can also have an assistant handle a lot of your email and you just see the stuff they forward to you, and they give you an update frequently.

Note: -

If you are doing your own email I wouldn’t recommend checking email first thing- use that time for something more creative like writing, sales copy or creating your next product, otherwise you can check email and start your day bogged down and purely responsive and reactive…. rather than channeling your time and energy towards your goals and priorities.

So, look at your to do list and group all the tasks and decide which chunk they are. Now, get your daybook and colour each time block a different colour. Then when it comes to the calls chunk you set your timer for however long you scheduled (I like 90 minutes) and do all your calls without interruptions.

Apply the same method to emails, writing, etc.

Final Tips

If you are thinking of outsourcing and building a good tram around you this year so you can play bigger and be more fully in your purpose then why not Manifest your ideal team with a brain dump of must/must nots for your PA, techy etc.

Finally- have your top wishes for the year written down on a piece of paper by your bed and review them first and last thing. (Big tip!)

Hope this helps- let me know your comments below!

The Feminine Indigo in Business

I have a few female role models and I’m pretty sure they are Indigo

They include
Angelina Jolie- she doesn’t hold back, she loves passionately, speaks eloquently and is just the most gorgeous sexy undefinable woman- she takes all those stereotypes of women – whore, mother, crone, maiden, etc and becomes all of them and none of them. She was destructive when she had no purpose, because inside her spirit knew it was here to make a massive difference. A defo indigo trait in my opinion!
Dolly Parton
Paris Hilton (this woman receives compliments better than any woman I know and has taught me to smile and say thank you rather than deflecting compliments- she is also a savvy business woman behind the sunnies and the peroxide- like Dolly, she knows how to establish a brand, create a persona and work it!)
Linda Macartney- what a pioneering visionary amazing lady.

These women followed their passions, love like mad and have a bigger purpose- I know Dolly prays all the time and had early flushes of faith like I had as a child and that they all really care about people & animals.

They aren’t afraid to be sexy, wild and feminine and don’t try to be ’spiritual’ they just live like women in full using the gifts God gave them to follow their highest calling.

As a women who loves people and is also crazy enough to believe she is here to help with the re-balancing & healing of our beautiful planet I have (after years of trial and error) eventually landed on a ‘business’ that works for me. I work best with people and now do intuitive counselling so I can use my gifts in a way that feels ‘real’ to me. As a teen and in my twenties I’d be offered jobs in sales all the time because I have that whole ’speak to anyone with my heart open’ thing -
that a lot of Indigos have….BUT i never ever wanted to ‘turn that on’ just to put cash in the bank for a business that wasn’t helping people and the planet.

So that is why I went solo. I also had a knack of being able to ’see into someone’- I didn’t go do a course because there is no handbook for what I do – it’s a gift, not anything to do with initials after my name (although I do have that stuff)

Now I tithe to www.pachamama.org and really love being in business for myself. As a woman i tend to focus more on the intagibles than a guy in business, (love, service, sharing community)I had to train myself to couple that with the tangible and get to grips with the tangibles- (money, taxes, sales). As a female I had to consciously decide to think about the money and I have had some horrible scary financial moments before learning how to charge, receive and value myself. I am still working on this all the time, but at least I am no longer shying away from it all together!

Even when times were hard financially my faith never left me because I knew eventually that I would find a way, and the picture seems to get clearer all the time. I think it’s a bit like tuning in a radio or telly- the picture comes into view but starts out kind of fuzzy- you keep backing and to-ing until you see what you like- and then you get to live it….Crystal clear picture and in surround sound.

My trip to the Amazon last year taught me the real ‘Law of the jungle’ and to me, the reeal law of business in the new paradigm – one of inter-connectedness, sacred reciprocity and true balance and co-operation.

I Love what I do and encourage everyone to follow their hearts and make a living from their love- whether that is expressed through business, professional service, public service, whatever. We all have a part to play and are a unique piece of the puzzle- It’s going to take all of us showing up to complete the picture on the front of the jigsaw which shows a healed, happy, loving , healthy and harmonious planet.

I’m excited about 2010- it feels so good already.

My plans include taking a group to the Amazon with the Pachamama Alliance to work with shaman and experience the rainforest and indigenous Achuar tribe who are the natural inhabitants and custodians of the land.

Closer to home I’ll be working intimately with some small groups, (Pearl & Golden) doing more readings/ intuitive one-to-ones and be doing workshops in the UK (where I live) – to stay informed and get a free subscription to my monthly newsletter simply click here

The biggest thing about being in business for me- and the one tip I would give any female Indigo that wants to work for herself from her heart, make a difference and get paid for working in her gifts is that you have to know your worth.

I think how much money we make comes down to self- worth in lots of ways.

The key thing every business needs is the area I struggled most with – that was ’selling.’ Gosh, even the concept felt aggressive, manipulative and just wrong. I had to find ways to think that made me not only feel that it was ok, but that it was in fact part of my spiritual, sacred service.

I had to reconcile the masculine energy of going out there and ‘closing the deal’ with my feminine energy that just wanted to love everyone and give it all away boundlessly forever! Trouble is, that makes as much sense in business as standing on the corner handing out 100 dollar bills.

Now I feel I have integrated both the Divine masculine & feminine in a way that works for me. The masculine energy implements and backs up the ideas and wishes of my divine feminine, and things feel so much more balanced and effortless!

I am happy to share here in the hope it helps you business/self-employed gals out there struggling with this-

If I know I can help someone, they need help to make a decision – That is the key. What I realsied is It is up to ME to convey the value of what I do so they can make their ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ an informed one.

I come from a place where I am devoted to helping someone who is thinking about working with me decide from their knowing- BUT I am not attached to whether that is yes or no, just that it’s not a ‘maybe’ – i.e.one more fuzzy thought for them to hang on to and keep them more stuck, still not taking action, being in confusion and not fulfilling their potential.

If they are ‘maybe’ I haven’t done my job of communicating the value I can provide. If working with me is the difference between peace in their lives, happiness in their work and more joy in themselves to share with their families then I am doing a disservice to them by not adequately expressing that. Once I have then they may feel it’s not right for them, or they might decide to go for it, either way, I trust it’s perfect.

I ask God to send me the people I am supposed to work with, I ask him to clearly show what’s really going on and how I can best serve. Sometime I intuitively feel that “nope, this is not my ideal client”. When I get a hit like that I will still hope to add value by recommending an alternative resource that I feel could help them best, so I might just recommend a book or whatever I feel intuitively to say and then wish them all the best- it’s not about ‘getting the sale’ it’s about serving from faith & the knowledge that there are plenty of people that I am a perfect fit for and those are the ones I want to work with as I can do most good with them! *(I work with lots of Indigos, but rarely attract other types as they think I am a total woo woo space cake ;) )

So far all my relationships have been so richly rewarding. Regarding boundaries I probably do get closer to my client than a guy would, but I can’t fight my nature- I have tried that and it doesn’t work for me. I am really into protecting my energy and clearing space now that I interact with so many clients and go so deep- Boundaries are an ever evolving issue that I am much better with now. It really helps to have an assistant who can help you maintain the distance (and an egg timer so you don’t run over the time you are hired for ;) )

It will probably mean I get stung in business more than some more ‘alpha’ types but I have strong intuition and usually know intuitively when it’s better for me to not work with someone. I hope this helps any theta male or female Indigo types and I really encourage you to go for your dreams and make that difference you know you came here for.

Ask God and the angels to help show you clearly the way and you’ll see the path unfold before you!

Love to you and best for 2010

Top Tips for A Top 2010!

Today’s tip is all about what your best year ever really means
for you. Obviously the best year ever will be comprised of
the best months ever which are made of the best days ever.

So let’s start there- what does the perfect day look like?
If you haven’t considered that you may want to jot down
some ideas about what you think, do, say, contribute, experience
create and feel on your best day ever?

Yesterday we talked about crafting your ‘Purpose Punchline’
Today let’s nail your ‘Soul Success Statement’.

Many people define their success on stuff that, ultimately,
doesn’t fulfill us as human beings. If there is one thing I have
learnt in the last decade it’s that money doesn’t equal happiness,
money equals money- which is the oil for the engine of what we want
to do. Happiness= happiness whether rich or poor- but I digress…

Money is something for a whole different chat and I’ll
be discussing it more in depth tonight on my free “Abundance
& Success Teleclass”
where you can learn my top 5 tips to
expanding your abundance- but for now I want to stay focussed and help you to
define what this next year, and decade is all about for you
personally.

This simple exercise to uncover your “Soul Success Statement” will
help you so much with setting your intentions and plans for 2010 because
it enables you to focus on what is really important for you and your Spirit.

So here’s where to start:

Grab a fresh piece of paper or a new doc and write your name and
then ‘The Best Of’ at the top. (hint- set your intention to experience a
breakthrough in doing this exercise!)

Underneath you’re going to create some lists that review the last
decade and prepare you for writing your very own Success Statement.

The first list is your top ten achievements in the last decade-
this might include things like getting married, having kids, qualifications,
initiatives- or you might choose to focus on your way of being and internal
victories that you have made or things you overcame and made you a better,
stronger person.

The second list is the top 10 things you learnt in the last decade
This is fun because you get to learn at the feet of the master that
is you (Like my friend Joan Ocean says- GURU= Gee, You Are You) So write
your ‘master list’

Finally, List 5 Things you did that made an impact and 5 thingsthat
made your heart sing in the last decade.

Optional extra- I also listed 3 things I would leave behind in the
noughties and 3 things I wouldn’t tolerate in the teenies. (Would you like to
see my lists? I have posted them on my blog and would love to see your lists if

they’ll go in the comment box- or simply email me!)

Now review these lists and take a look at your highlights. decide
what you want to see, do, be, experience more of and put it in your 2010
planner/calendar/ dream board.

Then you will have a good few ideas of what success means to you
and you’ll be able to create a Soul Success Statement that enables
you to experience success on your own terms every day.

Remember don’t compare yourself or your version of success to anyone
else’s- there are many flowers in the garden and all have
different purposes and unique beauty- Your version of success is
good enough…

And so are you- just as you are ;)

I’d love to hear how you find this exercise, tommorrow I’ll share
the 2 biggest stumbling blocks and – paradoxically- areas of growth and strength
I’ve recognised in the last decade and I have a last big juicy tip for
you!

Meanhwile, write your ‘Soul Success Statement’ and ‘Purpose Punchline’
everywhere you can!

My Soul Success Statement:

My version of true soul success is waking up each day and thanking my creator
for my life. It’s being able to look in the mirror as I brush my teeth and love
myself just the way I am. It’s sharing that love with every other
being whether silently in my heart or through the vehicle
of my business, expression or presence. Success is being here now,
and accepting myself and others without judgement, blame, criticism or fear.
Success in my life is being free to be who I am, speak my truth with love,
and to give the best of me in all I do. I am success. I am love. I am abundance.

Making A Plan For 2010

Make 2010 a good one! If you’re like me you’ll be sitting down before the New year officially begins and making a bit of a PLAN that includes what you want to be do and have in 2010.

Trouble is most creative people really struggle with making a plan that doesn’t feel restrictive or somehow just can’t get round to it, so year after year they fail to really make the impact, income and inspiration they desire and deserve.

No worries, I’m helping you out over the next 3 days by sharing 3 simple steps that will help you plan your year and your business and be more clear, focussed and centred in 2010!

So keep an eye out for that, and let’s start right away with this big juicy conscious marketing tip:

Know what you really ‘do’. I mean the heart of what you do and who you are.

Do you know that yet?

Once you do your life will radically alter- you’ll effortlessly attract the right people to work with you and it will blow your mind!

I can remember sitting in so many marketing classes over the past 3 years where I felt there was a big disconnect between the ‘marketing gurus’ and heart centred or spirit led entrepreneurs or service professionals like us.

Because my partner’s business was marketing and copy writing I began to learn about getting a message out to many people from the ‘insider’ viewpoint.

But time after time, I would sit in a class surrounded by what I would call gifted souls- people who had ‘heard the call’ folks who genuinely cared, had huge potential and wanted to live life on their terms- and time and again I would see a huge mistake being made that was costing them dearly. Here they were, investing in and learning systems, strategies and tools such as writing great copy, using the web and direct mail- all valuable and important aspects of marketing- but of no use at all until you are absolutely crystal clear on the fundamentals:

In other words- You need to know EXACTLY what you REALLY do.

When I say ‘what you do’ I am talking about your unique gift- your piece of magic that you came to contribute. There is absolutely no point investing thousands into marketing if you still aren’t clear on your message and your value.

Until you know exactly what your value is your marketing is doomed to mediocrity at best. I’m going to share with you a big tip now that can add so much value to you if you ‘get ‘ this….

The big thing I learned in 2009 is to focus on the transformation you provide for others, not how you deliver it but the outcome you or your products/ services create.

Once you know that you must whittle it down to a single sentence no more than 15 words. Here’s an example: “At Bettermorphosis my ‘business’ is helping people get their gifts out in a way that improves their lives physically, spiritually and financially. “

A shorter way of saying this is “I help people to get their gifts out.” (You’ll notice that ‘Get Your Gift Out’ is also the name of my best-selling system that helps gifted individuals uncover and monetise their gifts so they can fulfil their soul’s potential and manifest their Highest Vision.

Oftentimes, when you really get to the heart of what you do it can make a great title!) To tell you more I’d let you know that once people understand and value their gifts they find that not only can they make an abundant living, but that they are more fulfilled, centred and authentic.

I could passionately talk about this for hours, so that in itself would do any ‘marketing’ or ’selling’ Do you see and feel the difference?

There is no sense of manipulation, of trying to ‘get people to buy something’ you are just clearly expressing your gifts and then, by Law of attraction you are able to help the exact people who need you in an effortless, natural way.

It’s truly a beautiful thing with no ‘ickiness’ or ‘hard sell’ that doesn’t honour that soft, divine feminine soul of your business. (whether you are a guy or a gal, my personal belief is that we all have masculine and feminine energy and that the part of you that creates and births your dreams is – you guessed it the feminine. the aspect that ‘makes it happen’ is the masculine- this is a whole other article!)

It’s never about the structure and the paper the words are written on, but about the way you convey your heart & purpose through the vehicle of what you do.

So now, how can you relate this to your business? Can you come up with your “Purpose Punchline” and add it to your social media sites, webpage and business card?

Next time you’re at a party and you are asked the dreaded- “So what do you do?” question you now have an interesting conversation opener!

The added bonus is you won’t be stuck saying “er… I’m a writer but I’m also a reiki master, intuitive counsellor and have an online business” which I was always stammering over in my early days… I never knew had to express what I did and would feel awkward and mis-represented whatever I said This way you have a clear, pithy message that will cover what you are really all about and what you mean.

To sum up: Now is the best time to find out what you ‘do’. Knowing this will not only increase your business, make you more focussed and effective, but it will also be a relief to have a reply that doesn’t make you cringe at your next party!

So get working on your ‘Purpose Punchline’ and let me know how this exercise goes for you.

Hint- if you are having trouble think of a client success story or someone you have helped- it may even be a friend or relative- what was the big benefit of what you did?

Maybe you helped them get out of their own way or overcome an addiction- perhaps you helped to make them look stunning or lose weight. Remember to stay focussed on the transformation- not the process you took them through to get there!

Lots of love & Blessings Katharine
